I went to a meeting yesterday which had everything I have been reading and putting into practice over the last month, through explorations 61 and 62. Suddenly all the journal writing, courses, reading and experiencing make sense. All the items listed in Exploration 61 make sense together, at one time.
The meeting had very strong views on both sides of an argument, for which a conclusion was required in a reasonable time frame. Both sides spoke, the neutrals spoke, but the situation had to explode before clarity could be achieved.
It is impossible to describe in detail. In essence, there are different ways to respond to a situation. One involves anger or fear. The person in the anger cannot see. Others are either drawn into the emotion and cannot see clearly, others are not drawn in and can see with increasing clarity.
Yesterday I saw with clarity, for the first time in such a situation.I felt the emotion and hostility inside, I listened to the 'still small voice' and did not reject it as we normally do. The still, small voice grew.
The clarity in the room must then be spoken and here only I lacked confidence. I spoke some clarity to the situation, but my past 'don't speak out' conditioning held me from speaking with my clarity when it appeared. Next time this won't be the case.
Speaking the clarity is the start of peace for opposing views.
I can go on about all the books from Exploration 61 and how they have helped, but that is too many words.
I wish the raw emotion of recent posts to come through.
As for the exploration:
The process of this web-site is itself interesting for me, but in itself doesn't achieve much. Follow the little nudges which we are taught to ignore, summarised by the 'Still, small voice of calm';play with them, let them have space and awowness will follow.
Yesterday was awowness for 2 hours - total presence for 2 hours - everything that this site IS about.
