This link may shock you.
It makes me sad and optimistic at the same time.
What matters so much to you that it doesn't matter what happens to you?
The music haunts me sometimes: 'Children waiting for the day they feel good, happy birthday, happy birthday' (words below)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0G9vDKcdLg
Gary Jules Mad World
All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, Worn out faces Bright and early for the daily races Going nowhere, Going nowhere Their tears are filling up their glasses No expression, No expression Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow No tomorrow, No tomorrow
Chorus And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad These dreams in which i'm dying, Are the best I've ever had I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take When people run in circles it's a very very. Mad World, Mad World
Children waiting for the day they feel good Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday And they feel the way that every child should Sit and listen, Sit and listen Went to school and I was very nervous No one knew me, No one knew me Hello teacher tell me whats my lesson Look right through me, Look right through me

Kiwi response |
| |
I wrote these lines of prose the day I first saw the film of Kiwi. The words were spontaneously written as if from nowhere.
'She came to ride the white horses of doom. Total experience with certain death. Off the cliff into the surf it may have been; but willingly, no fear was there. Exploring now, what is, to its ultimate, disturbed by white noise, the pattern of the universe not understood.
Far she had searched, and long, but to no avail. The end, riding the white lady, was near. Oblivion! Images passed, every one, quickly. Despair and disappointment on every dying breath.
But this seemed different. Certainty at last, felt deeply. Reality meets itself rushing in the opposite direction. It could have been so different! No solution to heaviness, but endured it cannot be.
And so; crash! Broken body, buffeted, but free. Winged creatures, great beasts, arrive and sing, snorting fire and praising with hallelujah’s as the body is whisked away.
Where are you now? Perhaps I shall never know. Perhaps I see you, fleetingly, from foaming beaches; all of them together.
Happy? I cannot tell, but still there, waiting for the new beginning. Horizon, new sun, new dawn, new day. Maybe this time it will happen as it should. How was it meant to be? We never know, can’t even guess, doesn’t even matter, but then it does.
Something missing – want the final piece. Is it within or without? Must be within, but where? The key is out there, drifting in my consciousness, or yours. So still I search, and long and wide, knowing where to look but not daring to open the box. I will do anything but open that box.
I see the key, deep down, like oyster pearl. Wisdom will evolve us. Maybe, right now, as you sink and rise, you are handing me that key. May I be pure enough to see it in the confusion of my life.
