I believe the best policy is to say what you need to say NOW, from a place of calm.
If what you have to say is left it gets much harder to say and takes on a life of its own, producing a stressful situation all round and all sorts of imagined thoughts.
Every generation Blames the one before And all of their frustrations Come beating on your door
I know that I'm a prisoner To all my Father held so dear I know that I'm a hostage To all his hopes and fears I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Crumpled bits of paper Filled with imperfect thought Stilted conversations I'm afraid that's all we've got
You say you just don't see it He says it's perfect sense You just can't get agreement In this present tense We all talk a different language Talking in defence
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye
So we open up a quarrel Between the present and the past We only sacrifice the future It's the bitterness that lasts
So Don't yield to the fortunes You sometimes see as fate It may have a new perspective On a different day And if you don't give up, and don't give in You may just be O.K.
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye
I wasn't there that morning When my Father passed away I didn't get to tell him All the things I had to say
I think I caught his spirit Later that same year I'm sure I heard his echo In my baby's new born tears I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Say it loud, say it clear You can listen as well as you hear It's too late when we die To admit we don't see eye to eye

Message from the Hopi
The Hopi are the original Native Americans. There was no source attached to this.
'Message from the Hopi Elders
You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour. Now you must go back and tell people that THIS is the hour. And there are things to be considered: Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader. This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold onto the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, Push off into the river. Keep our eyes open, And our heads above the water. See who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey Comes to a halt. The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the Ones we've been waiting for.

Seize the day
I heard this folk group a few weeks ago. They write and perform environmental and political protest songs. Scroll down to Videos/Burning Bush and play it.
